Please join us to work for the betterment of Sjögren's patients and speak with one strong voice to reach the people who make things happen! Together we will build a better position for access to research, funding and patient education.

Patient Support:
You will have access to an expanding network of local contact persons, support groups and knowledgeable Sjögren's Society of Canada (SjSC) volunteers who can help provide support, tips and coping strategies. The SjSC maintains and makes available to its members, a list of physicians, dentists and ophthalmologists who are particularly interested in Sjögren's syndrome.
Newsletter:
The Society produces a Newsletter several times per year filled with educational information from diagnosis to treatment, hints for daily living, upcoming seminars, events, an "Ask an Expert" section, support group updates, reports on Sjögren's advocacy, research, and much more.
Discounts:
Members receive discounts on lectures, seminars and events sponsored by the SjSC.
Education/Advocacy:
- The SjSC sponsors informative lectures and presentations from doctors and healthcare professionals.
- The SjSC hosts an Annual National Patient Conference featuring experts presenting a range of topics of interest to Sjögren's patients, including how the disease may affect patients, treatment options, managing complications and current research. Exhibitors will showcase their newest products for Sjögren's patients.
- The SjSC has produced educational brochures and posters which are available for patients and professionals.
- The SjSC provides education for professionals and organizations.
- Sjögren's syndrome general awareness campaign: The SjSC raises awareness about Sjögren's syndrome to patients, professionals and the public.

The Sjögren's Society of Canada is a national volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of people living with Sjögren's syndrome through support, education, awareness and research. We rely on membership dues and donations to support our work. Membership fees are not tax-deductible.

The Sjögren's Society of Canada strives to improve the lives of people with Sjögren's Syndrome by providing support and education to patients and their families. Raising awareness about Sjögren's Syndrome with healthcare professionals and the public are also top priorities at the Society. General Fund
Your donation to the General Fund will be used by the Society where it is most needed at the time including support groups, education, awareness and research. Your contribution will be acknowledged in our newsletter.

Your donation to the Society will be used to honour or commemorate the life of a colleague, healthcare professional, friend, or loved one. Your donation will be used to advance the Society's mandate and activities. Your contribution will be acknowledged in our newsletter.

Research Fund
Your donation will be used to fund research into the causes of, and treatments for, Sjögren's Syndrome and potentially a cure for the disease. Your contribution to the Society's Research Fund will help to advance research opportunities which show the most promise and will be directed by the Society's Medical Advisory Board. Your contribution will be acknowledged in our newsletter.

Dr. Watson Buchanan Memorial Fund
Your gift to the Dr. Watson Buchanan Memorial Fund will be used to fund research into Sjögren's Syndrome while memorializing Dr. Buchanan's contribution to Sjögren's Syndrome. Dr. Buchanan a well known clinician, educator and researcher made a significant contribution to defining Sjögren's Syndrome and the field of rheumatology. He published more than 525 papers ranging from basic science to clinical trials in rheumatology. Dr. Buchanan encouraged young rheumatologists, scientists and patients. Your contribution will be acknowledged in our newsletter.
