How To Help

The Sjögren's Society of Canada (SjSC) needs your help to make a difference for people living with Sjögren's Syndrome in Canada!

Help conquer one of the most prevalent auto-immune diseases. Join, volunteer your time and talents, partner with us and donate to the Sjögren's Society of Canada!

Every person has a unique quality and expertise to offer. The SjSC depends on the generosity of our volunteers to help make a difference for Sjögren's Syndrome patients and their families in Canada. There are many opportunities for you to make a contribution to the Society from volunteering at an event or as a local contact person to increasing awareness in the community or advocating about Sjögren's Syndrome to government officials.

Donate

Donating to the Sjögren's Society of Canada will enable us to provide support and Sjögren's syndrome education, raise awareness and advocate about the disease and fund medical research into Sjögren's Syndrome. Participate in Upcoming Events

Volunteer your time and/or participate in seminars, local and fundraising events. The Sjögren's Society of Canada organizes an annual patient seminar and other presentations throughout the year.

Help is always needed and encouraged at various events. We rely on you to volunteer your time and your continued support to help to make these events successful.

Partner with Us

Partner with the Sjögren's Society of Canada (SjSC) and help us make a difference for people living with Sjögren's syndrome. With your support we can improve patient support and education, increase professional and public awareness and help to raise funds for Sjögren's related medical research and a cure.

There are several ways that you or your company can work with us to support the Sjögren's Society of Canada.

Volunteer

Volunteerism is the core of the Sjögren's Society of Canada (SjSC) and our volunteers are the key resource to helping us achieve our goals of improving conditions for Sjögren's patients and their families in Canada.

Support Group Leader or Local Contact Person
Volunteer to start a support group in your area or be a local contact person for Sjögren's patients in your community. To find out more information about the role of the Support Group Leader and Contact Person, click here.
Seminar or Events
Participate in, or help plan and organize seminars and events.
Awareness
Help raise awareness about Sjögren's syndrome in your community.
Fundraising
Participate in and/or help organize fundraising events.
Office Work
Help with mailings and office duties.

A volunteer must be officially approved by the Sjögren's Society of Canada to act on behalf of the Society.
