The Sjögren's Society of Canada is a national volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of people living with Sjögren's syndrome through support, education, awareness and research. We rely on membership dues and donations to support our work.
Your Contribution Will Make A Difference!
We are extremely grateful to you for your generous support. The Sjögren's Society of Canada strives to improve the lives of people with Sjögren's Syndrome by providing support and education to patients and their families. Raising awareness about Sjögren's Syndrome with healthcare professionals and the public are also top priorities at the Society. We plan to fund research projects that may lead us to more effective treatments for people currently affected by Sjögren's and one day find a cure. With your continued support, we can help the hundreds of thousands of people in Canada living with Sjögren's Syndrome. Each and every gift makes a difference!
We have three funds to direct your donation to:
General Fund
Your donation to the General Fund will be used by the Society where it is most needed at the time including support groups, education, awareness and research. Your contribution will be acknowledged in our newsletter.
Research Fund
Your donation will be used to fund research into the causes of, and treatments for, Sjögren's Syndrome and potentially a cure for the disease. Your contribution to the Society's Research Fund will help to advance research opportunities which show the most promise and will be directed by the Society's Medical Advisory Board. Your contribution will be acknowledged in our newsletter.
Walk-a-thon Fund
Walk-a-thonsl bring attention to Sjögren’s syndrome in your community, raise the profile of the disease and highlight the need for increased research into the disease. Funds raised at walks will go to Sjögren's syndrome research, Sjögren's Society educational and support programs.
